I could not put this book down and read it late into the night. It is a true page-turner with which I was fully engaged, holding my breath through-out the entire story. About one man coming to grips with his past and his faith, while facing a mission which seems impossible to survive. Impressed with the writing style, military knowledge and the need for “faith in God,” which is the thread within this book, I was hooked on this suspenseful, exciting story from start to finish. The vivid descriptions had me on the scene as if I was actually there watching on as the entire story unfolded. It’s a fast-paced, Christian, military fiction with many meaningful, yet suspenseful storylines melding together bringing excitement, intrigue and certain tension. As a reader that knows nothing about the military, the war on terror or the words and specifications they use, I was thrilled and clearly able to grasp the storyline and plot, as the author provides definitions. Prodigal Avenger is a great inspirational story full of action, suspense and thrilling scenarios. Tim Moynihan has made a fan out of me, and I am eagerly looking forward to his next book.
For war and military suspense readers, Prodigal Avenger is one you definitely need to read.
