Sandra Sechrest’s family secrets leads her to a ghost town in Colorado where she, along with retired cop, Bronson and his nephew are determined to uncover some buried secrets believed to be hidden there. Bobbi Lazzarone, the leader of Sandra’s family aims to stop her from discovering the truth and from unearthing the family secrets. Deception abounds while Sandra, Bronson and Daniel are all in imminent danger because Bobbi Lazzarone is ready to stop at nothing, and even commit murder in order to stop them from finding what they’re searching for. Bronson is determined to keep them all safe. But, when an accident occurs and leaves Bronson in a state of amnesia, all hope seems lost.
When Memory Fails by L.C. Hayden had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire story. It is fast-paced, action packed and full of adventure, mystery and intrigue. This is one of the best books I have had the pleasure of reading in a very long time. My favorite genre has just been kicked up a notch with this extremely well-written and conceived story. The author has created interesting, thought-provoking characters, thrilling compelling scenes and scenarios and a one-of-a-kind storyline and narrative. I was fully impressed with the dialog between the characters and the writing style of L.C. Hayden. The plot is amazing with an originality that is rarely seen in writers and authors these days.
I couldn’t put this book down and was on the edge of my seat with all the action, thrills and mysterious twists and turns. The conclusion totally floored me, and I am surely coming back for more from award winning author, L.C. Hayden. I am so excited to read more of her books in the Harry Bronson Mystery/Thriller series. Highly recommended by Chick Lit Cafe’s review of extraordinary books!
