Chick Lit Book Café Review:
An incredible, action-packed science fiction story sure to captivate, please and entertain, Stella Atrium takes readers on yet another fascinating, gripping and exciting adventure in Tribal Logic: Book Four of The Tribal Wars.
In The Tribal Wars scintillating series, Tribal Logic offers a compelling story to this saga. Jesse Hartley again tries to save the world, and again is met with political disruptions across several planets. As Jesse unravels corruption, she must pay a high price for her work. The fate of Westend hangs in the balance and so does the fate of her romance with Hershel as they try to reunite. While a reunion is something both Hershel and Jesse want, the reality of making it happen is easier said than done as they are sent on conflicting missions. This installment of The Tribal War series takes place in Dolvia with the Dolvian tribes dealing with oppression. War, manipulation, even murder abound as the galactic mining cartel is exploited again and again.
Stella Atrium’s ability to blend science fiction, romance, and futuristic elements make this book impossible to put down. I also loved and was impressed by the way she incorporated such eloquent prose with beautiful moments of connection between the characters. With her expressive writing style, Stella creates amazing, fantastical worlds easily and drops readers into these worlds with the precision of a gifted writer. Readers of science fiction won’t be able to put this book down, and as a reader who has not yet read all the books in this series, I found it easy to understand and found it to be a perfect standalone as well. I was immediately sucked into the storyline and swept away with the tide of her subplots and story arcs. I loved the complicated political conflicts and the depth of her writing and clever ability to weave together a masterpiece that is thought-provoking, brilliant and the most original, imaginative science fiction story I have ever read. The romance and missed connections between Jesse and Hershel kept me guessing with anticipation in the best way possible. I loved so many things about this book and story. I am now a new fan of Stella Atrium and The Tribal War series. I can’t wait to read each book in this series as well as the next book in the series, Utcan’s Talisman.
Readers who love exceptional writing, a solid, well-tuned plot line, an eloquent narrative, and fascinating characters will love this book. Stella Atrium has elevated the science fiction genre with the publication of each of the intriguing, gripping and creative books in this series. This book absolutely wowed and enthralled me with an exhilarating and thrilling conclusion. Chick Lit Book Café highly recommends Tribal Logic: Book Four of The Tribal Wars by Stella Atrium. “I was a great reader of science fiction as a young person, but I began to wonder why the protagonist in a sci-fi or fantasy story was always a man, even when the writer was female. Where were the stories that presented a woman as the problem solver?
A real heroine cannot call on armies to follow her, or pay assassins for special work. She may have children already, so adventure is out of the question, and her family must be secure before she can enter the public square where she has no voice.
So how does a story shape if the young hero must solve problems that girls experience in ways that females address problems? I could find no books that started with this premise, so I had to write some. And that was my first reason to write.
