Etched in Stone is a marvelous page-turner into the wonderful world of adult fantasy. Author Sarah Alserheid takes readers on an incredible journey as two sisters are given the sudden knowledge that they possess something everyone wants—power.

When sisters Jade and Amber inherit a multi-million-dollar company called Syndicate from their late parents, they soon realize they’re in for far more than they expected. As certain information that was kept from them both and each other slowly uncovers, other peculiar coincidences emerge, too. With magic, intrigue, cunning, and cleverness, Jade and Amber are about to be tested.

Sarah Alserhaid has done an incredible job with this novel. It’s created for far more than just entertainment; it’s thoughtfully profound, too. Alserhaid poured so much work into her story, characters, and carefully-paced plot. All of the elements balance out to create an incredible, mind-blowing modern fantasy that keeps readers hooked on every page. Alserhaid teasingly pulls on the sisterhood bond between Amber and Jade and plays with clever ideas, like that a gift can also be a curse, for example. The writing is altogether intelligent and creative.

This is an addictively good adult novel. Sarah Alserhaid is an incredible author with a natural talent for writing. Her work in Etched in Stone is pleasantly surprising, creative, original, and remarkably good. Once you finish it, you’ll be wishing the story had lasted longer!
