Also participating in the mystery is an aspiring writer, Austen Kincaid, who is also extremely attractive and alluring. He’s submitted his manuscript to H&H and has his fingers crossed. Attraction sizzles when Suzanna and Austen meet and five days of passion ensue, not leaving them much time to work out who the murderer is on the murder-mystery cruise! Despite their attraction, after the holiday is over, things don’t work out between the couple. Mostly to blame is the conniving, shameless, and hateful Haley, who has been chasing Austen from the first moment she saw him on the cruise. Sometime later, Suzanna buys a charming bookstore on Hilton Head Island. Debby Grahl has a great easy-to-read flow to her writing, and an incredible storytelling imagination. This is a very clever romantic suspense and murder mystery novel and is a delightfully entertaining and enjoyable read. A whodunit that will keep you eagerly guessing till the last page. Island Heat by Debby Grahl is highly recommended.
