Karen D. King, is an author; scientist; mom; a Navy Veteran, and an award winning leader. She has over 20 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry developing novel medicines for life-interrupting illnesses including Cancer, Rheumatoid arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and rare diseases.

Karen is a mom of 4 fabulous children which have always been her fuel and inspiration to push further. She has taught them by example that you can accomplish anything with hard work and dedication. For which they witness first hand when she completed her MBA within one year.

Her first book King Mentality was written to help others fulfill their goals and live their best lives by thought transformation. She has multiple degrees across many disciplines including biology, human resources, and business. She was born and raised in New York City and currently resides in Chicago, IL.
